Abstract
Use of computers and the Internet is becoming increasingly important for participation in many day-to-day activities. The digital divide for people with aphasia may have widened over the last decade as Internet use has grown increasingly common in order to conduct business. The purpose of the present study was to provide updated information about current computer and Internet use among people with aphasia compared to their prior and future desired use. Results indicate that action is needed in order to enable people with aphasia to negotiate the increasing barriers that have been created by new and expanding digital technology.
